A customer came to SmartMetals with the request for two ceiling solutions for a call centre. The purpose was to attach two displays beside one another on a tube set and to the other ceiling mount 4 flat screens in a matrix configuration.

SmartMetals tried to use as much as possible standard products for this solution. She has designed a bracket for the ceiling tube where two tiltable screen brackets could be attached to. For the matrix configuration SmartMetals developed a bracket to which the customer could mount 4 tiltable screen brackets.

Concept

With this solution the call centre is able to monitor the results of the day and they can quickly respond to certain projects to be improved or see which promotions run well.

Project: PROTECTIVE COVER

One of our customers requested an enclosure for the departure hall of a train station. The enclosure didn’t need to be watertight, but should protect the equipment against vandalism. Inside the enclosure three monitors should be mounted, including a player, and it should be installed against the wall.

The SmartMetals solution contains a enclosure which is build up from stainless steel with at the front side safety glass. At the back side of the glass a black frame is placed to hide the bezel of the monitor. The whole enclosure is tilted slightly forwards to take away as much reflection as possible.

Concept

The monitors are placed as a triptych for this solution, and the content is fully adjusted to this 3x1 format. The viewer experiences the content as if he or she sits in a moving train.

One of our customers requested a wall mount for a VideoConference camera. The idea was to use this in combination with a currently installed VideoConference system.

Solutions

SmartMetals has developed a bracket upon which the camera can be fastened. Besides that she has taken the cabling into account, this can be neatly run through the cable duct or through the wall.

Concept

Due to this VideoConference solution the customer is able to save money and time, now she can meet with their subsidiaries and international partners, while not having to leave their office.
